ALPHA P3125S Assembly Pictorial

All the required parts to get you on your way to SECC2 cooling bliss with the exception of the required 60mm fans in this photo.
The first order of business is placing the aluminum heatsink shroud onto the heatsink itself.

You did remove the protective white plastic from the aluminum shroud already didn't you?  It's only for protection during manufacturing.

The aluminum shroud is attached to the heatsink's sides using two small  sheet metal screws installed on each side.
The next step is to install the two small angle brackets that will help support the P3125S's mass once installed onto the motherboard.  The brackets are each attached to the heatsink again with a small sheet metal screw.
Now of course we have to add the fans.  Here is one of the the two required already installed with four of the large sheet metal screws and washers.
It is now time to attach the heatsink to the processor.  Once the processor is in place onto the copper face of the P3125S you must align the mounting holes and put the thick aluminum stiffening plate in place on the back of the SECC2 cartridge.

Dont forget to use thermal compound/grease!

Now the spring plate is placed over the stiffening plate again aligning the mounting holes.
Insert all four machine screws through the spring plate just far enough to start the first of the threads into the heatsink.
Once all the machine screws are in place they must then be tightened.  Start with one then go next to the one diagonal from the first in a criss-cross pattern.  Tighten each only a few turns at a time until they are all snuggly tightened.  Dont "wrench" them down with great force, it is not necesary.

  Thats it, your done.

Here is a picture of the angle support brackets that help hold the mass of the P3125S utilizing the standard motherboard processor brackets.  The angle brackets will require adjustment for a good fit.  Simply loosen the screw and slide the bracket to the appropriate position then retighten the screw.
